running help and tips needed

every time I run my chest starts to burn...any info on this?
it's like my body and mind wants to keep going, but everything in my chest, starts hurting

having you been running for very long? are you trying to do too much at one time? do you have asthma? congestion? do you smoke?

Tell us what you are doing? Are you warming up? Is it cold where you are? Have you been checked for costochondritis?

I notice when I don't excersise for a long time, even walking can cause my chest to be tight and breathing hard. Give us more info so maybe we can pinpoint it.

How do you breath when you run. Are you breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth? Are you taking long steady breaths instead of short quick ones?

Usually when you breath in the air goes through your nose, warming and moistening it before it gets to your lungs. When you run though breathing through your mouth, bypasses this process. Without first being warmed and moistened the air can shock your lungs, damaging the cilia and mucosa.
The easiest answer is to breath through your nose, try to slow down your pace and breath through your nose. If there is an indoor tract where you can run, try that.
Hope this helps!
