Routine for the Gym

Hi,

I am going to be starting at a new Gym when it opens in September, I am a little bit set back though due to not having much of a plan for this. Due to my shifts are work I have to cover a lot of later hours meaning i finish work at 8pm or 10pm quite a few times.

What i would really like is some advice on which machines at the Gym I should use and for how long, I am not sure what target i should set myself for the amount of calories burnt per session as well.

I am also into my weights and have quite broad and muscular shoulders and arms which i would like to further tone up.

My main goal is to shred 5 stone and tone up along the way....this includes dropping weight off the belly and also getting rid of Moobs! I am not lazy when it comes down to it and get to the gym so if its a hard session i wont be too worried

Does this new gym offer an orientation to it's members or have a personal trainer on staff - you could ask them for a basic program.
 
I have actually just dropped on......there is a new lad who now works in my department and he has offered to help me out with a good plan as his old job was personal training!
