Here is my new routine. I am hoping it will be more effective than what I have been doing in the past.
Sat - HIIT 5min walk, 20min either run/walk or jump rope/walk, 5 min walk
Sun - weight train 10-12 reps 3 sets of each muscle group - shoulders, back, chest, triceps, biceps, butt, inner and outer thighs plus 4 sets of stomach excercises.
I alternate this (or I plan to!) and rest on Fridays.
I was thinking to do HIIT using jump rope for a week and then running for one week to sorta of mix it up for my body not to get used to it.
Diet -
Breakfast - shake or oatmeal with fruit and a piece of wheat toast 1/2 with jam and other with little butter
Snack - fruit, string cheese or nuts
Lunch - tuna with cheese with one piece of wheat toast with either peanut butter or little butter. OR 5 slices of deli meat, piece of cheese and 4 egg whites scrambled
Snack - fruit, string cheese or nuts
Dinner - Varies but normally 1/2 cup of brown rice, veggies and some meat.
Only drink Water throughout the day and Tea in the morning. I am trying to drink more water - at least 8 cups.
By the way I know that eating breakfast starts your metabolism but I get to work at 6am and I don't eat til about 7-8am would it be better to eat right when I get to work?
