Round Two “FIGHT!”

Ok I’m on the second leg of my weight loss.
I want to get more toned and lose a bit more weight. I’m not sure how much, but I’m guessing I want to be around 138 or 135.

I’m 5' 6" and about 150 or 152 I really need a better scale to be sure.

Food for today:
Breakfast:
Slimfast shake (I didn’t feel like eating)

Lunch:
One whole wheat pancake and two scrambled eggs. (I’m not a pancake fan but my daughter and husband want them all the time)

Dinner:
Whole wheat chicken helper with broccoli.

Snack: celery stick with peanut butter.

Drinks: (Because I’m a calorie drinker)

Homemade hot tea and water.

I know I needed more veggies today but the cupboard is bare for a few more days.

OMG what a great idea! I'll have to do that. I loved useing Raiden the best. It's been soooo long, I didn't get to play the game as much as I would have liked but I was a big fan of the comic. *Sigh* now I will be hereing the same sounds in my head for days.

Whoa what is this? Two female fighting game fans in one thread? Does not compute...system shutdown imminent. Haha just kidding. You guys rock. Guile was always my favorite Street Fighter, Smoke and Johnny Cage my favorite Kombatants.
 
Today I’m getting everything ready for our thanksgiving dinner over at my house. It will be the biggest party we’ve ever had in our house. 16 - 18 people are coming. I will start tomorrow at 4 am to put the turkey in. Blah I can cook, but I don’t really like it.

Today was an ok day but I really wish I had some fruit in the house.

Breakfast:
Scrambled eggs and oatmeal

Lunch:
Black beans with cheese and hot sauce, plus mixed veggies.

Dinner:
Goolosh.

Snack: slim fast shake

Drinks: 3 mugs of tea and water.
 
Ok so my TG dinner is over. I had a lot of fun with doing to for the inlaws. I just wish I could have had some of my family over. But they are all the way is KS so there wasn’t any chance of that happening.
Anyway. I think I did fairly well. Not extreme binging or anything.
Today was leftovers but I’ve done fairly well with them. I even managed to steer clean of the pie and pumpkinroll.
Tomorrow evening I will start my 30 day free trial of the Curves Gym, and I’m very excited about it! They are going to measure and weigh me, then train me on all their machines. It will be my first time working out in a gym. I’m sooo looking forward to what I can do in this 30 days. And if it works out I’ll make sure I can join the gym permanently. I’ve lost 6" off my waist so far, but I’m sure their will be a lot more once I get to work out in a gym, without the distractions of home life.
 
So I went to the curves gym tonight it was wonderful!!

I found out that I’m a normal healthy body fat percentage! Wahoooooo I am officially no longer fat!

I had an easy time learning most of the workout machines. I am looking forward to going back.
 
Ahhhh just got back from my run.

It’s 33 outside, if someone would have told me at this time last year that I would be running in this weather I would have said they were crazy.

I my day was good. Got the tree up and my daughter had loads of fun helping to decorate it. She’s 2 and just now finding out about holidays. She has been carrying around a tea box that I fix up to look like a camera because her daddy has one. Well we got her the fisher price digital camera as her big gift. I don’t know who will like it more, us giving it to her, or her getting it. XD

Food today was

Breakfast
Raisin Bran

Lunch
Chick peas
Fat free cottage cheese
And a small potato with salsa on top yum!

Dinner
Turkey pot pie

Snack
Half a peanut butter sand and an apple.
 
Good and not so good.

Lol well I had a fun 2nd workout at Curves today.
Then like a silly thing, I had lunch over at a friends and prolly undid my hard work.
I'm sure that I went over my cal limit, but I’m not going to stress about it. It wasn’t like I binged or anything.

So here goes

Breakfast
Raisin bran

Snack
Chick peas and cottage cheese

Lunch
Ham sandwich puffed rice cake things and some kind of apple cake, with a spoon of ice cream.

Dinner
Left over potpie and a bit of sweet yams

Ohh well tomorrow is another day.
 
It looks like you've got weight-loss down to a T! I'm sure you'll have no problem losing any extra weight you want to get rid of :) these food logs sure do help!
 
Very well done, I am glad you are a part of the forum. Your success is a great story for us who still have a while to go.
 
Size 12 people! That’s right I'm down to a size 12 in jeans again wahooooo!

I was running and doing things all over today, so food was a ok I just didn't keep great track.

My home made chicken soup

Dinner was wayyy late but I stuck it out, and didn't get anything bad at the store. My mother in law got a big slim jim. Yuck a sick of grease if you ask me.

But I did have a pepsi.

So yeah nothing too bad today.

Plus new pants. Yay!!

I'm sorry my logs don't have cal count. I keep up with that on my phone, but once I get on here I just want to get things done with.

I don't think I do anything other than eat like the food pyramid says. I don't over do it with carbs or anything, but I don't try to cut them all out either. My food budget is limited because I am feeding more than myself. So I can't go out and only buy organic or anything like that. We don’t have the cash plain and simple. I try and use the most healthy foods I can. And I don't cook junk for the people I love. And for me that means using whole foods when I can.

I don't think organic foods are worth the extra buck as far as getting fit, I sure as heck can't afford them. They turn a $50 grocery trip into $100! :ack2:

I think recording calories is necessary to see what you need to fix, I did it to kick myself in the butt about all the snacks I've been eating. Fruits and veggies are about as healthy as it can get, but I don't eat as many as I should. Congrats on the pants, btw!
 
Size 12! That's fantastic! Well done Raven :) It must have felt awesome buying some new pants!
Can I ask what is a slim jim?
