Hi,,im 16 years old male, and iam 5'7 and my weight is 199p. Ive been excersing every day for 1hr 20min, playing basketball, pushups, sit ups etc. i was 210 like 1 week ago, and i was eating twice a day, but very light meals. But i want my Metabolism high, so iam starting to eat 4 meals a day, small and healthy, fruits, oatmeal, green tea. lots of water etc. in total for 1 day for me its 1263-1225 calories a day. and excersing 30min after each meal. am i doing this right? because i really want to get toned down and look better and feel better, and 1st meal)9am,2)Noon,3)3pm,4)6pm, ty in advance.

Well Im also 16, 210pounds, and about 6', I find that 5-6 meals a day with regular exercise (although I workout for football 3 hours a day 3-4 days a week) will let you lose weight...

Oh and don't exercise right after a meal o_O if anything do it right before

Oh and quick add-in 1200 calories is the same as starvation level I would suggest 1500 at least for your size

Thanx, ye im gonna start to exercise before i eat now, by the way , can urself or any1 else suggest a schedule with 5meals times when to eat? ty

Depending on when you wake up I tend to do
8 AM - Some high fiber cereal
10 AM - A banana or a Lean turkey sandwich
Noon - A turkey sandwich or maybe a turkey burger with fruit
3 PM - Again fruit or a lean turkey sandwich
6 PM - Dinner which I usually just have a small portion of what my parents cook :p

Looks good to me, iam try that out tomrrow same times as you, just diff foods xD,, after you eat your last meal, is your Metabolism still going? like i dont want to sleep for like 10 hours or more and it stores fat.

Well most people will tell you, you DONT want to eat anything within 3-4 hours of going to bed because it will cause you to store fat or at least that was always my understanding so trust me that shouldn't be a problem

i dont think it matters what time you eat you last meal/snack before going to bed. i have lost 80 lbs and have a snack often as late as 10/11pm. it is the total calories taken in during the day that count and as long as you are in a deficit it shouldnt matter.
i think if you have a tendency to binge eat at night, then there maybe a benefit to not eating after a certain time only.i couldnt cope without my evening snack. hate going to bed hungry. slim
