Restriction..

Is there anything you don't allow yourself to eat? Completely cut out of your diet I mean. Whether it because you believe it causes you to bloat/retain water, or it is too fattening etc?

there's stuff i won't eat because I don't like it...

but otherwise nope -nothing is restricted..

Thats a recipe for binging...

No. There are some things that are hard to fit in to my goals, so I'm likely to choose not to have them, but I could choose to have them without "cheating."

There's no particular reason to avoid something that makes you retain water, particularly if you know it makes you retain water. You know that the next day's reading on the scale is going to be completely unrepresentative of your actual weight, ignore it, and move on.

Sorry to make it cliche, but one more for the no side... Just limits, thats all, but no restrictions.

To me, restrictions = a diet... so nuh uh :)

I used to a lot, because of ED-NOS.
But lately, I don't. Obviously, I set a limit so i'm not binging away, or going overboard with what I eat and when I eat it, but taking away all the foods you love won't make dieting enjoyable, and you won't want to stick to it, so I tend to eat junk occasionally. Once a week or two i'll treat myself to something junky, because I love potato chips x 10, guilty pleasure haha, so I allow myself to have that, so I will want to continue.

I don't eat chocolate, chips and such or drink soda.
Mainly beacause it isn't good for you.
It is a lifestyle change more than a dietary restriction.

I do restrict myself for health reasons: I eat nothing with gluten and/or lactose in it (although I have been slacking on the lactose department latey). This is quite restrictive (some would say very), especially because I chose not to substitute with gluten free everything (that for me wouldn't work, I would just long for the real deal more).
So I eat no: pasta, bread, pizza, cereal, buns, pastries, cookies, crackers, most potatoe chips (they are often coated in wheat or contain barley) nor milk, yoghurt, cheese, cream, milk chocolate.
It sounds worse than it is, because I love fruit and veg and I do not feel the need to eat those things most of the time (I do get occasional cravings, but I haven't given in, for a whole 6 weeks!).
However it is "easier" for me to stop consuming those goods because I get physically ill when I do, so when I did "glutenize" a few weeks back (by accident) I got severely ill afterwards (3 nights of diarrhoea and vomiting), so I do nto want to eat them.

Oh I also do not drink soft drinks if they contain gas (I do do the occasional ice-tea), because I get painful bloating from it.

So technically yes I restrict my diet, but I do not feel that I am in as much danger of falling back to the routine and gaining weight because it is for health purposes (also non controled celiac disease leads to intestinal cancer in a huge percentage, and after having seen my mom battle cancer I do not want to have to go through that!),

I'd like to say no but really some things just aren't worth it to me anymore. Like everything bagels which I love but now get whole wheat if I want one or full fat milkshakes from fast food places the calories in a small are scary! And I used to love to go to pizzerio uno for their personal pie lunch special uh huh until I learned its like 2000 calories for lunch alone.

I guess my only things that are off limit are sugared drinks - soda, juice, etc.

I drink diet soda, crystal light, and water only. Basically, my general rule of thumb is don't drink calories I could eat.

The only fluid with calories I drink is skim milk.

As far as foods: "Everything in moderation."
