Register, people!

most of those non-registered people are likely bots :)

Yeah, many of them probably are, but I know from personal experience that I'm generally a browser unless I have to register. I first joined here about 4 years ago and it seems like it was much busier back then. =/

HAHAHHAA you want people to have to sign up so they can post more and contribute more to the forum...but you signed up about 4 YEARS ago and only have 30 posts? HAHAHAHA...ironic, eh?

Sorry, I had to. :Angel_anim:

I'd probably post more if it didn't take several hours (or days) to get any sort of response to a thread.

You're basing this off of the whole 2 threads that you've started in the past 3 years?

I'm not picking on you, but I just find it funny...that's all. But, in all seriousness, just because a thread is started, it doesn't mean that people will have anything to contribute. Maybe they're not knowledgeable about the topic being discussed, maybe what they wanted to say has already been said, maybe they're not in the mood, maybe they don't have the time to sit there and respond or maybe they just don't care. And, I think what happens most of the time is that people just don't see certain threads that are started. So, they don't respond because they don't even know the thread exists.

That's just my two cents.

Btw, you're the guy that's always talking about his penis, right?

I prefer the word "weiner", but yes. It's nice to know that my reputation precedes me though.

Wile I thank you for your concern..We are doing just fine. As a mod, I can see just how many posts and threads are being made because I have to go through them all looking for spammers and the like. I'm not entirely sure what your goal is here. No one is forced to participate. In fact, I bet quiet a few just follow looking for advice or encouragement but don't want to post. That's fine. I'm glad your other forum is doing well. We are doing just fine too.

When I said it takes several hours to get a response to a thread I wasn't talking about my own threads, I meant in general. I'm a member of another forum that only has about a hundred active members but is incredibly active, so when a board like this has so lurkers with no one posting it's hard to get involved, hence the point in making this thread.

What's your definition of "lurking" exactly? Because you said you've been a member for about 3 years, yet, you only have barely 30 posts. That's about 10 posts a year. If that's not lurking, I don't know what is.

And, like I said in my previous post - there are a lot of reasons as to why threads don't blow up right away with conversation. And, for the most part, it has nothing to do with "lurking".

Lurkers as in people who browse but don't register.

Anyhow, this thread was merely a suggestion for those who have yet to register. As you can see it was made in the middle of the night when I was obviously bored and no one was posting. Not quite sure why you're so insistent on arguing about it.

Umm, where am I arguing? HAHAHHA...I started off by making a funny observation of how ironic this thread was and, since then, I haven't argued anything...I've merely stated my opinion on something.
