I just purchases a bodybreak recumbent bike..and am very excited to begin using it!

I just want to know, if any one has had much success using an exercise bike.

I have a tredmill and a bowflex. I hope the combination of the 3, will show some good results! (im eating healthy aswell)

thanks

I can't call what I use an exercise bike per se... I have a regular road bike on a training stand, thereby allowing me to use the bike I'm comfy with all year.

I find it very useful though... Keeps me in shape for outdoor riding when the season starts

All I could use to exercise with at first was a recumbent exercise bike, or my actual bicycle. I had to put about 30 more psi in the tires so I wasn't riding on the rim. For about the first 3 months I had such horrible hip pain I couldn't do a treadmill or elliptical for more than about 10 minutes. Bikes are awesome. They work for me!

Here is a link to an indoor bicycle trainer. Not pimping their product...just as a reference

When I was going to the gym, the recumbent was my domain :D I loved that thing. It really got my fitness level up as well, but that's always going to happen when you sustain an exercise program.

I love biking of any kind. I find it much better for me than things like running and it's great to get out in the open air. xx
