Recent pics

Hello everyone,

I'm still a newbie, but I'm having fun exploring this site so far. Anyway, it seems that everyone is posting pics of their progress here, so I might as well too.

I recently lost around 30 lbs over the past 3 months by doing a lot of kickboxing and weight training. I was always athletic, but around a year ago I started putting on weight when I found myself with less time to work out. Chalk it up to bad time management. Anyway, I just wanted to get opinions as to how I'm looking so far. Most of my weight gain usually occurs in my abdominal and hip regions. I foolishly didn't take any 'before' pictures, as I was truly embarrassed by the way I looked and didn't think I'd be telling my story to a bunch of strangers, but finding this forum has made me even more motivated to succeed and to sustain my weight loss.
These pics were taken a couple of weeks ago (one of my daughters is in one of the pics too).







Now that it's summertime, I want to take advantage of the hot weather and wear my new bikini!
 
Sure. For breakfast I usually eat a bowl of oatmeal (1/2 cup) and an apple with either skim milk or water. Lunch is either baked fish or chicken with a small salad. Dinner is either a protein shake or a different type of protein from what I ate at lunch. And then, of course, I go to the gym 4-5 days a week.

I'll tell you what: there's nothing more depressing than trying on your clothes and realizing that it doesn't fit too well anymore! That'll light a spark under your butt to get moving!
 
you look amazing really and don't see any lose skin or anything, so its hard to tell that you were once were much heavier. if you don't mind me asking, what is your height and weight, and workout.
 
I'm around 5'7", 125 lbs. My workout usually consists of either an hour of kickboxing, an hour of other cardio, or an hour of weights. I usually combine an hour of weights with an hour of cardio though.
