I´m 5´5
I´m 21
I weigh 185 lbs.
I used to weight 283 lbs, so I lost about 100 lbs in 7 months.
90% of the time, I was on the ketogenic diet, which is a low, almost non carb diet: eating eggs, meat, lettuce, cheese, coffee.
I read all about how you should only be on the ketogenic diet for 2 months, but I kept going and it worked perfectly for me.
I added carbs sometimes: did the ¨fat, sick and nearly dead¨ juice fasting for a week,
the Insanity diet for another
and a balanced diet from a nutritionist for another week: kept losing and went back to the ketogenic.
I knew there would be a time where I would stop losing weight as fast. I'm still losing but some weeks I maintain the weight, and others I lose only a pound.
I have never gained any of the weight back, it only seemed as if I stopped losing sometimes because of my period, but after a week, I would lose it all at once.
I never got my period before until a few months after I started to lose weight, which is also a big issue.
I tried Lipo 6 Hers for a month.
I tried Hydroxycut but left it after a week.
I´m taking OxyELITE pro now, but I didn´t notice much. Lipo 6 was the only one that did what the pills are supposed to do and gave me results.
I did the Insanity workouts half of the time and the other half on the stairmaster, treadmill and elliptical machines: my workouts were most of the time before breakfast, and while on the machines, they were always a total of 45 minutes or more. Now I´m back with Insanity.
Maybe it´s time for a different combination of diet/exercise.
I wanted to see if anyone knew of a good plan. I want to reach 170 by January, reach 160 by the end of February so I can maintain that weight for 2 months and from there lose my last 20 to 30 pounds, since I´ll find out what my ideal weight is when I get there.
I know this diet is not healthy, I´m only looking for a healthy diet once I reach my goal.
I don´t know if I should change my exercise routine or my diet or both.
Thank you!
