Hi everyone, I'm Katie and I'm new here (although I signed up in Jan. but never posted). I think I'm finally ready to make a change in my life. I'm 22 and weigh 254...ugh! I've never been skinny, but since I went to college gained alot (freshman 15 was more like freshman 30 for me). I did lose some weight, but have gained back. I graduated last May and am on my own really for the first time, I moved to Boston back in Sept. I think I've finally comitted myself to getting healthy and losing some weight. I'd love to lose about 100 pounds ultimatly but I'd like to start with some smaller goals first...maybe work on 20 at first and keep going from there. I belong to a gym and I was doing okay with going but have really slacked off for the past month so I've decided that I'm really going to get on track with it and go regularly (I've got to get my money's worth right?
). Basically I know what I have to do, actually it amazes me how much I know about nurtition, excercise and eating healthy. I really could coach someone on it but my problem is putting it into action for myself. I know I want this, and that I just have to give myself a good kick and jump to it or its never going to happen.
