Thats rough.. I used to get it real bad on my neck.. And trust I know how much that hurts.
This is what I do.
Wash thoroughly the place I'm shaving. Usually people hop outta the shower and shave.. I like to do the reverse. I use Neutrogina with moisturizer, and cleanse the area real well. I then use Gilletes gel-foam shaving cream for "sensitive skin." I use a razor with 3 blades.. I stopped using the disposable one's. Shaved.. then after words I use witch hazel with a cotton swab and go over the area I usually burst out in razor bumps/burns.
Since then I have not had it reoccur again. This was on my neck and chest though.. The idea is to just keep the area well cleaned.. since small particles of dirt may be lingering.. and I think shaving opens pores? and it gets in there causing the razor rash/burn. I may be wrong on that.. I just let it naturally go away.. takes 3-4 days for me..
