quick question

jus a quick question
my full body workout consists of 6 sets of wide grip bench press, i was wondering would i need to do and tricep exercises or could i count that as working triceps and chest?

thanks

You might want to hit one or two sets of a tricep exercise afterwards. Skull crushers and narrow grip benching are a few good ones.

Wide grip benches take the pectorals through a shorter ROM and are harder on shoulder health/stability.

As far as additional tricep work, it depends on the weight/reps of the benching. Heavy=not needed. Light=it's up to you, although still probably not needed.

well this is how i do
flat bench press is a core exercise which i do every workout for chest then i alternate incline and decline.
the reps are like this 12,8,6 for both press
and for large muscles i.e back, legs, chest i do 6 sets
for smaller muscles i.e triceps, biceps delts, traps i do 3-4 sets with pyramiding reps

I'm not a fan pyramiding. Anyhow if your training 3x per week using fullbody routines i would read Chad Waterburys set/rep bible on t-nation.com.
