I JUST started doing cardio, fast walking for 30 mins. at about the 15 minute mark i ALWAYS want to quit or give up. my motivation falls.
but i tend to push myself which is good but this is why i hate working out. i feel so uncomfortable getting all sweaty and feel like my weight is holding me down/making it harder.

my question is, once i get more into a routine and used to working out, will i start liking it more? and tolerate it more?

did any of you HATE working out at first but then started liking it or craving it?

ALSO i seem to get a headache afterwards. is this normal?

NO. If I had to guess, I'd say you're getting dehydrated. drink more water!
As far as the other stuff goes, don't worry too much about it. I think you'll enjoy it a lot more once you gain a bit more endurance. Good Luck.
It could also be that you're just pushing yourself too hard. There's no reason I can think of that most people off the street couldn't do a 1/2 workout.

Every morning I kind of dread getting out of bed to do it, I hate it when I first start, then get a little numb to it, then I really get into it. I'm sort of backwards from your take on it. Sometimes, I temporarily stop the treadmill and stretch if I'm struggling. Interval training (and playlists on my ipod) help me take the boredom out of it. I vary speeds and inclines as I go every couple minutes...really mix it up. It does get easier as you lose weight and get in better shape. Hope this helps.

thanks guys! i know half an hour fast walking isn't very hard but i'm VERY unhealthy and im a 6 year smoker cutting down. so i'm still just working my lungs a bit too. :/ im cutting down smoking more and more every week. i was a heavy over half a pack a day smoker and im down to about 5-6 smokes day. and still working on cutting down.

I'd suggest slowing down, then. Also, it helps me to cut my workouts in short groups of 10 or 15 minutes each. I'll get a drink of water in between, and on be off the treadmill for about a minute.

I smoked for 30 years and quit sometime the middle of last year. I started out dieting and exercising at 306 December 31 of last year. I understand where you're coming from. It gets better as you develop both muscles in your legs and cardio vascular endurance along with having less weight to carry.
