Greetings,

I'm a 18 yr old male and im 6 foot tall. I use to weigh 114kgs (251 pounds). I've always been a pretty big guy but have recently decided to slim down. I'm on a Australian diet which is much like atkins with low carbs/high protein. I'm currently down to 88kgs (194 pound) and purchased the book "THE ABS DIET: Eat Right Everytime Guide" I haven't read the book yet but i've heard it's a brilliant.

The main question I have is whether I should first continue to stay on my current diet and get down to about 80kgs and then start working on my abs or whether I should be working on my abs using this book and the consequent diet associated with it to lose weight and build my abs at the same time. I'm not extremely clued in on fitness pretty much because I never gave a crap about myself till 6 months ago. I know that if you're building muscle with a high % of fat mass that it's a bad idea but could you guys give me a indication of what weight I should be at before starting to work on my abs and well everything, I intend to have 6 pack abs, ripped arms and legs etc and just not sure when to start.

Thanks a bunch guys, hope someone can help me =)
