Sport Quick question about Fiber

I know the importance of fiber and get a good enough amount of it regulary every day but a few months ago I heard an interesting thing about it. I heard that if you get in about 30 or 35 grams of fiber then at the end of the day you eat junk food, that junk food won't get absorbed. I'm starting to question that now. any comments or second opinions on this one?
 
though in a way it would make sense cuz the fiber does help digestion and burn fat but seriously i knew it was too good to be true
