i saw a thread saying protein bars are not that good cause they are full of dirty carbs and fat they jus like normal candy bars
the thing is im not allowed to take protein powder or any thing like that (parents dont let me cause of all the "side effects" lol dont take the piss now

well i was wondering if i make oatmeal bars at home myself so i know theres nothing unhealthly in there would that be any good cause im trying to gain weight.
what i can put in the bars is something like almonds,raisons, no sugar!!
but for taste maybe 1 tea spoon of ovaltine?
jus wondering if that would be ok if im trying to gain "CLEAN weight" no fat of stuff if u know what i mean
i need a quick answer cause i gotta get baking
