When entering weight lifting you have two options.

1. power lifting or body building, vigorous effort
2. light or moderate effort, light workout, general

Now, of course I know what power lifting is and I'm not doing it...but what is the real difference between "vigourous effort" and "light workout"? I don't subract calories burned in exercises from my intake so its not really all that important, I'm just curious.
 
This is what i consider both to be.


Vigorous - heavier weights, raises your heartrate and slightly out of breath

Light - lighter weights , comfortable heartrate
