Questions about a new healthy hobby

Im am currently trying to get into shape because I am planning on becoming a police officer. I still have 3 years of school left and I am using this time to get into the best possible shape I can. I want to get a good hobby that will help me out the fastest and be fun at the same time. I am deciding between, long boarding (skateboarding with out the tricks) or the Trikke (links below) which do yall believe to be the best workout or do yall have something else that would be fun and easy to do.

I already have a decent diet going but I need to be more active. Im currently at 300lbs Ive lost about 50lbs in the past couple of months with just diet and walking.
