Hi yall! I'm new. And I have a question. I know I'm eating the right foods, but I'm concerned that I'm not eating enough calories. I'm feeling more tired than usual, sluggish and getting headaches. I don't think I'm adding things up correctly.

I weigh 125 pounds and I'm 5'3". I want to lose 10-15 pounds. I'm eating 1200-1300 calories a day and working out 3-4x a week but I usually don't burn off more than 100-150 calories because I'm not a great runner.

I was under the impression I should be netting (from food + after working out) ~1200 calories a day to LOSE weight but my boyfriend seems to think it should be more. I would like to be accurate here to ensure that I'm doing it right and will get results and that I'm not putting my body in starvation mode.

Should I be eating more??

AI think what you are eating sounds about right. My fitness pal is a great app that helps you to see how many calories you are eating and how many you are burning.
Are you drinking enough water? As this could be the reason for your headaches.
Are you eating the right foods? Both of these can contribute to headaches and tiredness.
All the best
