question bout new rules of lifting

under hypertrophy I

there is an A and B workout ..
so basically what you do .. is exercise program A for
12 weeks .. then go to B for 12 weeks .. then to Hypertrophy II ?

im gonna do this while im trying to lose some fat .. hopefully it works out well .. since im still pretty much new

No. If I recall, in hypertrophy A is lower and B is upper or vice versa. You work out 3 or 4 times a week until you have done each 12 times. So, if you're working out 4 times a week, you'll do both A and B two times each week and you'll have done them each 12 times at the end of 6 weeks. That make sense?

so hmmm

say i workout mon - wens - friday

mon - workout A workout 1

wens - workout B workout 1

friday - workout A workout 2

next monday - workout B workout 2 ?

Exactly. So if it says to do each 12 times, which I think you implied above, then it would take you 8 weeks to complete. Take a week off and move onto hypertrophy II or whatever you want to tackle next.

And don't forget to switch up your sets and reps (if you intend to follow it faithfully). I actually found that it kept it more interesting, though it's more difficult to track. So, your routine ends up looking like this:

Mon - Workout A 3x15
Wed - Workout B 3x15
Fri - Workout A 4x10
Mon - Workout B 4x10
Wed Workout A 5x5
Fri - Workout B 5x5

They actually suggest something more mixed up than that, but if you've read it then you know what I'm talking about. Good luck!

yea .. it has the rep schemes changing every workout
so

workout a workout 1 is like 5x5 .. then 2 is like 3x15 then 3 is like 4x10 .. and workout b is opposite ..

so im just gonna follow what the book says for hypertrophy I ..

so around 8 weeks to finish .. then ill see where i am at

they have some exercises that i havent done .. so im sure im not gonna be able to hardly do any weight .. like with high pulls
