Question about weightloss, pregnancy, etc.

I gained 30 lbs during pregnancy and instantly lost about 20. Right now, I have about 8 to go. I have never in my life worked out as much as I do right now, so since I presumably may be gaining more muscle, do you think I might not get down to my pre-preg weight?? (since muscle weighs more than fat?) Just something I was thinking about... please let me know what you think!
 
Wt gain and loss surrounding pregnancy can be a tricky thing.

One thing to keep in mind is that your body is different and may never look quite the same as it did pre-baby, although, there are many women who get into health/fitness and look better than before having kids. The main thing is that you don't go around wishing for something that may not necessarily be reasonably attainable anymore.

That being said, you only gained 30 pounds, which is generally right on target, considering the recommended wt gain range for the average woman is between 25-35 pounds - you hit it right on the head. Kudos to you.

Being that you only have 8 lbs left, it shouldn't be out of reach to lose that.
Also, it is fairly common to see some muscle gain with simultaneous fat loss in the beginning for those who are new to exercise, so, yes that can count for a little of it.
