Question about creating a diary

How do I do this? When I tried to create or view one of the diaries in the thread i got a message that I wasn't authorized or he system administrator had disabled my account (or something like that). I'd like to start one, but I think I'm doing something wrong. Thanks.

You should be able to go to the diary section and hit the new thread button....you don't have to ask anyone permission to do it, I think. I don't understand why it won't let you view any of the threads there.
