Push-ups + Crunches (can this hinder strength training?)

I train pretty hard all week.

I do heavy weight and cardio

I'm curious to know if doing push ups and crunches every night would help me reach my goal.

My goal is to improve the way my body looks. I want to lower my over all body fat and make my muscles look nicer.

So what do you guys think?
 
Doesn't your routine include ab work and pushups anyway? If not i'd just incorporate them into your routine. No need to do them everyday AT ALL.

BTW what does your routine look like?
 
sorry it took me so long to respond.

My training is up in the air right now. Like

M-chest
T-cardio
W-bis, tris
TH-legs abs
F-back
SA-off
S-shoulders

this is kind of what my routine is like but it's not 100%, i change it up a little depending on if one of my friends is there that day or how i am feeling.
