This is my first post on these forums, hello everyone!
I've been working out for about 8 months now, and before that i was literally a stick at 5'11, 150 pounds, i'm still fairly thin, i started out with just pushups and a kind of over the top ab workout, but now i'm lifting wieghts for my forearms, biceps and triceps, and since then i've went up about 15 pounds, to 165. i'm currently happy with my looks and size, because situation pending I can be pretty quick.
I've been more interested in a Bruce Lee type physique, I never want to be to much bigger than maybe 180, but I just want more strength than one would expect by looking at me. I have a few goals besides looks, I want to be able to pick up my girlfriend off the ground with no problem, I can now but it takes a fair amount of effort.
I was just wondering how I could actually gain pure strength without getting to much bigger and keeping my agility and speed?
And one more quick question, what do the triceps, biceps and forearms all actually do? what activities are each muscles designed for?
Thanks for any feedback!, i'm a newbie still hehe
