Hi people, Herr Poultry here, Im a 21 year-old amateur athlete who has pretty much run into a plateau. Ive been trying to get my body fat percentage down to 9-7 percent for the sake of my own approval but the process has been mind-numbingly slow. I started this year with a 19% fat and have barely manage to reach 13%-14% as of last week. I cannot understand what Im doing wrong, I do everything im told both within and without training yet have managed so little. Here is what I do per week so you get an idea:
7:30 hours of Mixed Martial Arts throughout the week
2 clases of 9Round kickboxing complemented with weightlifting done previously
1 Day of abs only workout in the gym
I am also taking a diet high in vegetables, insaturated fats and protein, to the point which is almost the only things I eat.
I know I am taking too much cardio but thats pretty much what Martial Arts are about.
I there any advice you can give me? Is my diet wrong? Should I do more/less?
I am desperate for feedback so any reply is appreciated.
