About 4 years ago I slipped a disk in my lower back. It was bad enough to the point where I had to have the disk fused. I healed fine, no spine issues to this day.
However, I find that I continue to "pull" the same back muscles every time. Within the last year and a half i've pulled the same muscle 3 times, just last Tuesday being the 3rd. I was working my core muscles, and lower back, and today I honestly feel like I pulled the same damn muscle again.
My question: is this happening because of the surgery? They went in straight thru my back, maybe the muscles just haven't recovered? I feel like I should just stick to bodyweight exercises and stay away from the weighted lifts and stuff.
If anybody has any tips or reccomendations that would be great, because I'm sick of the muscle ache in my back. It's killing me. I've been to the doctor the last two times it's happened and it's always the same thing. And it only happens when I do exercises related to lower back muscle strengthening.
