December 1st my weight is 168lbs. 18lbs to go. I started out at 180 and lost 15 lbs (2 months) Maintained that weight for about a month. Slacked off ALOT and gained back 5lbs. and now i am at 168.
-One of my biggest problems is my will power when it comes to food. I have been trying to loose the SAME 20- 30lbs for the last 2 years. I am really upset with myself with not having enough disipline to loose this wieght and keep it off. I am not one of those people who are really dedicated and cant loose the weight. IT ME an my self control. So hopefully i will stay active on this board and stick with the program this time. Thanks for reading! I will post my diet and workout plan later on. The Boss man is learking

I am down to 166lbs. I am going to start this workout routine that i found in fitness RX for women. it was a 1 hour workout where you change from a treadmill to a bike to an eliptical trainer to the stairmaster every 15 minutes . You workout in fat burning mode in each machine and your do this at least 4 times a week. I am thinking of going on a low carb diet at the beginning of next year.

I am having a hard time with emotional eating. I got stressed at work yesterday and I went and had a fried chicken sandwich with fries from wendys. For dinner i had donut sticks an biscut and a piece of fried chicken and fruit punch. I know that it starts with my mind so i need to change my thoughts and then my actions will change. I am going to start looking at a picture of me before every meal i eat each day to remind me that what goes in my mouth shows up on my body. I know I can do this. I just need to be consistent and pray when it gets hard

i did not do this so i will do it now
How much weight do I want to lose?
170 now want to be 145lbs
waist is 33 inches goal 28 inches
arm is 13 inches goal 11 inches
Shoulders 45 inches Goal 42inches ( I have very broad shoulders for a girl)
Thighs 26 inches Goal 22 inches

I want to loose about 25lbs

What's the time-frame?
3 months max

How do I want to accomplish?
Doing cardio every day(at least 1 hour( limiting my carbs(50) and calories(to 1400) Thinking abouT CAD( carbohydrate addicts diet)
Who or what can support me?
God

How realistic is the goal?
I use to be this wieght before so its very possible

When will you start?
I am starting over Jan 1st 2005

Thank you for your support!
I need it.everyone around me thinks that I am stupid and I look ok. I am not fat but in know that i can look better because i have looked better before.
P.S. I JennyLee I LOVE your signature

Thats right,..its your body and you make the decisons about it..good luck on your goals, (btw the sound pretty reasonable to me)

Don't worry PT, the guys and girls here don't discriminate against people just because they're not fat. Self improvement deserves support in any form.

Thats good to know. I get critized alot for being to hard on myself.

Today i wiegh 166lbs. I ran/walked 3 miles and that took about 40 mins. My goal is to run 6 miles in an hour so I have a long way to go. I am going to run MON, WED, FRI and go to spin class on TUES, and THURS. I am going to a wieghts to my routine once i hit about 155lbs which hopefully will be by the beginning of FEB. Cardio is key for me seeing that i am naturally muscular.
Breakfast: Oatmeal and raisins
Snack": Slimfast
Lunch: Tuna
Snack: Pop Corn
Dinner: Chicken Breast

Today i DID NOT want to get up and work out but i did :). I feel my New Years motivation steam running out already. I wanted a donut for breakfast but had Oatmeal. I guess this is when i need to exercise some willpower and self-control because that is the only way i will reach my goals. I am going to start looking at photos of me before i eat each meal and when I get up in the morning to help keep me focused. I lost another pound so i am at 165. Just 15 lbs to go. i am thinking of trying to get to 147lb. wish me luck!

Good luck! Isn't it a wonderful feeling after you work out when you really didn't want to? I'm going to take a page out of your book, I can't be bothered exercising but today I'm going to get on the exercise bike anyway.

low carb

I am by no means an expert on this but in my past experience watching my military troops on "Low Carb/ High Protein" diets, these are usually a disaster. People who were only 15-20 lbs over their weight ended up gaining like 60+ lbs back when they finished. Yes its probably the easiest, and fastest way to loose weight but I am sorry I dont think anyone has the will power to keep on it forever ( atleast I dont, i love my bread) and if you do your body just reacts horribly to the carbs afterwords. Now I could be completely wrong on this though so if i was you I would check up on it a bit ask some people here who have done it already. I always say you get what you pay for, you work hard and you get great results I wish you the best of luck on this and hope you loose it fast :)

thanks for the info. Maybe i should not go low carb. I did it once for like a couple of weeks and lost about 10lbs but i was about 30lbs overwieght. I guess i will just focus on cutting out the high sugary foods and just watch my intake. I have a tendency to overeat on things like bread and pasta. i know i will not be able to cut out carbs for ever because i love them too much so and its not worth being worse off than i started!

well, I am at 164lbs 14 more to go. I can tell a difference in my tummy!!! woho. I ran a whole 3 miles with out stopping yesterday and did my spinning class this morning. Im finding it a little easier to get up and work out now. guess i am getting back into the swing of things. I think that i will start lifting lower body wieghts and abs at the beginning of febuary or when i get to 155lbs. I cant wait to reach my goals!!!

I suck! I was at 162 lbs on saturday morning. Then i went to a party and drank and ate all night and then went to a brunch buffet after church on sunday. I weighed myself monday and wieghed 164!! i worked out but then i ate 3 slices of pizza for lunch(i was free). This morning my alarm clock did not go off(its broken!!!!) and i did not work out. MAN i was doing so good. I need to get back on the ball because i am loosing my focus. For some reason i can not pass up free food. I am going to do better starting now. I am going to work out after work and get up and go running tommorrow morning. I want to break 160 lbs and 30 inch waist by Feb 1st. I know I can do it. its all about my self control. thanks for listening!!!

I am at 163lbs. i ate pretty well on tuesday and wednesday. I worked on on monday, wednesday and this morning. I am planning on running tommorrow and Saturday for my goal of working out 5 times a week. I think that i am going to really start counting my calories to make sure i dont eat more that 1400 a day. I am going to start trying to eat more protien also. PEACE!!!

Hey PT I did the whole low carb thing before and I did lose but once I started eating them again I gained all of the weight plus some back. What I'm doing this time is I'm eating them just smaller portions and trying to make sure they're whole grains. I'm also trying to have them during the day instead of my last meal.
You sound like you're doing wonderful though. Keep up the great work!
