Protein Shake or Mass Recovery drink

I am kinda confused in determining what I should drink.

I have teh N-large protein shake that I drink after my workouts, but I also used to drink this post workout drink called "Mass recovery". It says to drink it right after a workout becuase thats when my body is at a higher potential to absorb carbohydrates and amino acids. So sometimes I drink it 5 min after finishing working out.

but my questions is.....which is better. the protein shake or the mass recovery protein drink.

Should I alternate between the two every timeI workout. Or should I drink the Mass recovery drink after I workout and then take the protein shake after also???

Keep in mind these two things aren't the only things I take the whole day. I eat a healthy dinner also.

Please explain.

try taking the mass recovery immediately after workout, and the protein one before you go to bed.
 
I checked them both out and I would take either the Mass Recovery after the workout or a "half" serving of the n-large. At night stick with protein, fat, and non starchy veggies.
 
ya, I switch between the two.(protein shake or Mass Recovery) after my workouts.

After a come back from work(which is at 11:30pm) I usually eat one bowl of cinamon oat meal.

Hows that sound???
 
ya I have milk with the oatmeal. Do you think its too late to eat eggs at 12am???

And do you mean whole eggs, or should I throw away the yoke???

milks good. if you can stomach the eggs, its fine.

most do like 1 yolk for every 2-3 eggs.

Is it the packets of oatmeal? I make big batches of old fashioned oats with cinnamon and nutmeg and splenda. Then I take out what I need and reheat. The cottage cheese is better than milk because it has more protein. Or have about 5-6 egg whites. I'm a believer in the protein + Carbs and Protein + fat. Veggies all the time! Try to equal the carbs with the protein. There is about 3 gm of protein in a large egg white.
 
the only ingredients should be oats. not the sugary flavored stuff.

i do 1/2 cup with 1 cup water and nuke for 2 minutes.
 
Yes, you can eat all that if your not getting enough calories in during the day. You need the calories.

I make the oatmeal on the stove easier for big batches. I buy the big container of Old Fashioned Oats. Takes longer to cook but they taste better. Oats are the easiest thing to make, aside from a bowel of cereal. Instructions on the container.
 
Why not post the protein/fat/carbs in grams of one serving of mass recovery and one of the n-large. Then compare.
