protein powder

for a female (me) trying to lose body fat and build a small amount of muscle.
would it be recommended to use a protein powder and if so how much of it and when.
 
You could use it if you are not getting enough protein in your diet.

How much depends on your lack of protein consumption from whole foods.
 
i know there are some days i do not eat as much protein as i probably should as a couple of meals during the week i dont eat whole foods.
was thinkin about adding a scoop to breakfast especialyl on the days i exercise hard..... is this the correct time 2 add?
 
i do cardio in the morning and weights in the evening..... im guessin i should take it after the weights??
 
Yep. You can add it to breakfast as well, but it would be best to try and arrange your diet to get in whole foods instead of relying on powder.
