In mid-January I went diet and exercise crazy and dropped about 20 pounds. these are my pictures from last year's prom and this year's prom. At prom last year I'd say I was at around 145, and my maximum weight was 150. This year's prom I was at about 131.

I didn't really see a difference until I saw these pictures. Currently I am at 135, and I would like to get down to 120. This is me today....

I wasn't going to put the full body shot on because I know some people don't approve, but it shows all the things I need to work on. My stomach is my main focus. That's where I have dropped the most weight thus far, and I just have some stubborn fat there that I think will come off in the next 10 pounds. The next big thing is the inside and back of my legs.

So nothing really drastic, I just mainly wanted to put up the prom pics, but the bathing suit pictures are kind of acting as my motivation right now!

You are prolly gonna hear this alot but, the only thing I could see you doing is toning up what you already got. You're already in shape and damn hot.

yeeeeah, I know I need to tone up. I was doing so well earlier on in the year, but I've just kind of slacked off. Even though it doesn't look like it, there IS some fat that I would like to lose. Especially in my side/stomach and my butt. Thanks for the compliment!! It's always nice to be told that you're hot.

Yeah people can walk a fine line between becoming obsessed with their bodies. I know im struggling with that myself. I'm already down to a 34" waist 12%BF @ a really stout 212lbs, and now im going to a 32". At first I just wanted good arms/chest/and back with maybe a 2pack. Now I want a hard 6pack with my delts really showing through.

Funny thing is im already getting all of that and im already making plans to take it further. Bottem line and lesson to be learned is just learn to love you're body and who you are.

You are incredable looking in that two piece. You MIGHT be able to shave another 5-8lbs off you're frame and tone up even further but, problem with that is you will start to really show muscle's all over you're body and IMHO women having alot of muscles even if they are in their stomach area is kinda gross looking.

I say tone up some and maybe put a little muscle behind you're frame but, thats it. Goodluck in whatever goals you decide to adhear too just remember it truely is a fine line.

thank you Aleeluh...I loved my dress this year.

Ironman- The only reason why I set my goal at 120-125 ish is because that's where I was my freshman year of high school, and I was in great shape and looked great. I've talked to my doctor and she said absolutely nothing under 120, so I adjusted my goal to 125 so I definitely wouldn't go underweight. When I get down to about 128 is when I'm going to really try to tone up. I definitely don't want to be all muscly though. I dunno! This is too difficult.

I am the same weight as you with a similar goal and body shape, and I know exactly what you are talking about. It's hard to "see" the places that still need toning after 10-15 lbs weight loss, especially if you have been exercizing and are healthy.

On those pictures, by the way, the health really shows. In my opinion, you look very toned and healthy.

Would going to 125 make a difference?

I've thought about that a lot. 125 is my goal weight as well. My husband says I look great at 135 ("there won't be anything left of ya!") but I feel like 10 lbs more would shave an inch off the waist and hopefully, the thighs.

At the same time, I am also learning to accept myself at 135 - to sort of settle with it. Like, okay, if I never lost another pound, would it be okay to stay here and to do that, how should I eat and exercize to be at my best?

I think by doing that, then when I do lose, it's bonus.

You are stunning! You look perfect.......but I understand wanting more. But really, you're in amazing shape!

Well, your suit pictures are my inspiration! Try yoga or pilates to lengthen your muscles rather than building them :)

But I am going to Cedar Point tomorrow, and unless you lose weight from putting your hands up and screaming at the top of your lungs, I will not lose weight. Boo.

you are absolutely beautiful!!!!! you look great i can def. see a difference in the pics!---btw i love love love ur pink dress! :)

Honestly, you are a hottie. All you really need to do is some mild weight training to firm up some muscle (not build mass) and the areas you aren't happy with will probably also improve. You should be proud of where you're at.

Wow, I thought you were super pretty in both pictures! I can see the difference though, and you're looking great. Toning up is good, but you have to know you look really good now.

I'm your age so ima tell you how it is...

I love your body. Abs are disgusting.

I really wish we had beautiful ladies at our school, lookin' like...this...haha.

You're fine. In every meaning of the word.
