Progess thus far

Okay, I'm sick of wearing sweatshirts constantly and being embarassed to take off my shirt. I'm 17 and am 6'1"

I noticed today my problem, i've dropped in weight but not too much in appearance my face is a little less fatter than it used to be. Anyways, I was 204 pounds and I was sick of it so I started going out going to parties etc.. to this moment I'm in the high 160's. It's tough to explain but I can see some changes around the face but none around the stomach and upper chest etc... but it's time to start eating alot more to boost my metabolism and to drop the fat storing time to burn it all off.

When I was in the 190's

me in 160's

This is now will update soon and yeah I know I got some cool ass boxers.

I can definitely see a difference in your face, but can't tell much with your sweater on. Keep it up!! :D

Thanks, lol and yeah I know I had a picture of me back when I was 204 and wow I changed since then. The sweater one was the only one I could find of me from back awhile ago.

I'd hit it....the boxers are the selling point :D

haha

Oh yeah I found pictures, and I myself can say wow.

Back awhile ago

About a month ago or so (I looked horrible in this picture I don't know why)

Now

I'm pretty pale right now because I think im coming down with the flu or a cold.

P.S. As you can see I tried keeping the same face in all the pictures so you could see the difference only problem was it's cloudy out and I can't find that brown shirt lol

word man, good job.. keep it up. you should think about doing some core exercises and investing in either a gym pass or some weights for your home. that could really help you. you've already lost the fat, now it's time to gain muscle to make yourself more toned and defined. wicked job bro.

Thanks, yeah I have already started working on my upper body, even though I still want to drop down to 150. Deltoids, Pectorials, Forearm, Triceps, Biceps. Have been doing 60 pounds (seems like a little but I think that's decent for someone who hasn't lifted with these muscles purposely). Well see if I can do 70 next week. Basically I've lost nearly 50 pounds in almost 4 months.

50 pounds in 4 months? That's impressive! Takes a lot of dedication to do that. Definitly has paid off though eh? It's nuts how much better you feel after loosing so much weight; not only physically but when people notice that you've lost. Good stuff man

whats your strategy to get to 150 exactly, my body type is similar to yours in your current state, and I'm having trouble loosing anything more

Well if you want to know how I have done it, I sleep alot because I have school once a week, and I'm not a breakfast person (not usually hungry for it). So my calorie intake is smaller. Basically if you google weight loss you'll get that it's bad to eat less meals that are bigger well personally I think that's bs and I'm living proof that I can loose nearly 50 pounds in 4 months without eating more or starving myself. Before when I was fat I would sit and have little to no excercise, but I have lowered my calories to no more then 1300 a day and I try to get out of the house at least once a day. I do/ did cardio at the gym for about 20 minutes everyday except the weekends for about 20-22 minutes. So keywords to you is fewer calories, more excercise, and less meals (I don't suggest 1 meal at least 2 and try and make at least one of those meals a good meal like for example Subway). That's about it, my weight has constantly been dropping by doing those things.

When I was in the 190's it was warm enough to run at around 6 and still light out so I used to run 4 miles and eat things with the least fat, like cerial hmm, crispix, rice crispies, things with 0% fat. But as soon as I dropped to the 180's I stopped cuz it got too cold and too dark. As soon as I drop to 150 I am gonna eat probably around 3 meals a day and excercise alot more! So my metabolism/ physical activity will make sure it doesn't move back up.

If you're concerned about what foods to eat, "no fat" foods are usually not the way to go actually. Believe it or not, your body really needs fat to run smoothly on a day-to-day basis. What you SHOULD be concerned about is calories, carbohydrates, sugar and sodium! Those are the four killers for anyone's day. Calories because roughly 3500 calories is one pound, carbs because they're a long term energy supply that is hard to work off, sugar because it's a short term energy supply that often times sits and does not move, and sodium because it retains your natural body liquids.

That's not to say go out and eat the highest fat stuff in the world, it just means that some fat (especially polly-unsaturated or omega-3 and omega-6) are actually beneficial to weight loss.

Also, you should be concerned that you're getting enough protein in your diet. Eat things like eggs, tuna, and chicken to gain a healthy advantage in your protein department, because protein is more readily turned into muscle than something like sugar.

You don't ALWAYS have to eat healthy, you just have to get your body into a constant high metobolic rate, so that when you do slip up and eat that Mr. Big it doesn't sit and store, your body gets rid of it. Exercise and foods are the main thing in loosing weight, and food has a lot more to do with it than people think!

I don't think I can do what you did... I am very active and I have really long days, I need to eat to stay awake and functional the entire day... If I don't get 2 good meals in a day, I feel dizzy, and there's no way I can then run what I do without that much energy. I can't see how you can run 4 miles without eating very much.

just thought i'd say I weigh about 156 now.
