pre-workout nap?

I've been getting into a habit of falling asleep from about 8-10pm and I workout at 1030pm. I feel fine at the gym, I'm just curious if this is considered a good or bad thing to do?
 
yeah, as long as you don't feel groggy...and feel fully awake, its fine.

i don't like to lift after getting up in the morning because it takes 90-120 mins for your CNS to fully wake up after normal 8hours of REM sleep. I find my lifts are weaker early in the morning, compared to mid-morning, or evening.
 
wow i am impressed someone can do that. Every time i wake up i am tired and my whole body feels heavy so my lift would be terrible if i tried to do that. If you can't feel any problems though go for it!
