Powerade

Hey guys,
its me again ahaha. I have a question for you guys all. I was wandering about powerde.... is it good to drink powerade everyday after your workout session. Will it effect the Fat loss process in anyway. What do u guys think.... I looked at the contents and it says 60 cal(energy).

Well powerade has alot of simple carbs in it, making it ideal for post workout.
And i know the commercials say it has a sodium/potassium balance, but i would suggest drinking a natural juice.

Reason being is that if you drink a juice like Orange Juice or similar juices (which are natural), then you not only shoot fast acting carbs into your muscles, but you're also throwin in vitamins that the fruit juices supply. Not to mention anti-oxidants :)
 
no, taking powerade after your workouts wont affect fat loss. some use this or gatorade pwo like stalefish mentioned.

i know i'm not gonna say this exactly correct but its said that the food/liquids taken pwo get utilized and not stored as fat. i know i'm not saying that correclty though but something to that effect
 
PWO = Post Work Out.

I prefer... I'm not sure what it's called. I think it's World Fitness's Rapid Recovery Drink (Grape!). It contains a lot of Protein and L-Glutamine, with some simple carbs. Plus it tastes great.
