Power Lifting Benefits

I have been lifting for quite some time now and I am taking a weight training class just to get some extra credits and a workout. the teacher offered to show anyone who wants power lifting exercises like cleans, snatches, deadlifts, etc. I havent done a power snatches or cleans but I want to. I was curious of the benefits of these type of exercises. Do they build bulk and definition or what? or do they build explosive power and if they do what does that mean for your body? what kind of results will you see from these exercises? thank you.

Re:

Full body exercises like cleans and snatches are a great way to build muscle, burn some serious calories, and increase your total body power. These exercises recruit your major muscles and stabilizers forcing your whole body to work at once. Instead of sitting or lying on a bench working one muscle group at a time, your whole body and mind are worked at once.
I would definitely include these exercises in your routine.

so if I'm lifting throughout the week should I save cleans and snatches as a full body exercise? so should I do my upper body begining of the week then save cleans and snatched for a day that I'm doing legs?
