Oh my God, you are destroying your back and your posture. You need to lay off the situps and crunches and introduce some back strengthening.

A 6-pack is the result of excellent nutrition, favourable genetics, balanced exercise and good posture.

Please stop this ridiculous routine- it is dangerous.

holy carp thats a whole lotta situps and cruches, thats not good for your back and its not doing anything for your abs. weighted crunches are ok , is your form good. i noticed you do nothing for your obliques. ??? why .

OMG.....

First, I have to say it's quite amazing you've been able to keep up this rediculously heavy routine. You've already got willpower and determination. What you lack is knowledge. You need to get the right info.

Workouts like this will ruin your body instead of giving you abs. I was doing crunches as well, (not waay as many as you, but still) naively hoping that my abs would magically appear.

Then someone smart answered to my post and said that abs wouldn't appear no matter how many crunches I do unless I'd get rid of the layers of fat covering it.

Well, there you have it. So get rid of that rediculous workout scedule and get on a good diet.

ok thank 4 your replys but what r your obliques and how do u work them and what kinda food should i eat in my diet.

Hey Cole, like Maverick said you already have amazing willpower which you acn utilise to get the body you deserve!

I would recommend getting a couple of top fitness books. I would personally recommend:

How to Eat Move and be Healthy- Paul Chek
Power to the people- Pavel Tsatsouline
Bullet Proof Abs- Pavel Tsatsouline

These should cover everything you need!

OMG I so love how you answered that. YOu have said something I have been searchin for as far as answers. I was killing my self in with the work outs as far as crunches and not seeing any results in my abs. And one of my friends told me it has to do with my diet. I didnt believe him till just now. and it is so true. You get rid of the layers of fat around those muscles and your abs will rise wooooooooo..I love you guys in here.

Thank u so much

Abs are definitely all about food. That routine is pretty intense and needs to be more well rounded. There needs to be more work of the pelvic stabilizers and back.

haha yeah you've heard this a lot but that is one heavy routine. I can definately feel a 6/8 pack but its embedded by about 1/4 an inch of fat

You need a high protein intake, less fat and less simple sugars while maintaining moderate levels of complex carbohydrates.

A lean stomach and six pack abs take a combination of good nutrition, cardiovascular conditioning, and abdominal training.

It is important to do cardiovascular exercises at least 3 times a week.

These may be walking, running, cycling and other activities that increase the intensity of your heartbeats for at least half an hour.

These in turn elevate metabolism and lead to burning of more calories by the body.

Your abs should be worked out 2-3 times a week. More is not necessarily better.

Cathy.
