*Please Help* - Too thin... eternally.

*Hey everybody, I'm new here at the forums and simply have one question. I've been 5'9 110 lbs all of my teenage years, (I'm 19 now...) and NOBODY in my family is thick at all. (By thick, I mean filled in: wrists, breasts, calfs, etc. Skin and bones...) and I'm sick of it. So here's my question:

- If you guys could tell me ONE thing to do everyday, (as far as eating goes,) to gain big wieght... what would it be? PLEASE tell me exactly what to do, I'm begging you. I know you probably get these posts a lot, but I'm making this short and sweet: I want to gain wieght, and I need somebody out there who knows what they're talking about to help me. My goal is to go from 110 to 165... I'm counting on your guys lol. Thanks for your time...

*No replies?? LoL. I was really looking forward to reading some ideas... like I said, I'm SO tired of being scrawny - I want to gain like 35lbs. What do you think would be the best way possible?? Non-stop wieght lifting day in and day out, or just eating until I burst? I feel like no matter what I try, my wrists don't get any bigger... and niether do I. I need to gain wieght. How?
 
Do a search on these forums. Adler (I think? or Abear? gosh, I don't remember) always posts a very good link dealing with this.

Advice on gaining weight? Eat. If you want to bulk then eat and eat and eat. Go to Berardi's articles and go to nutrition, look for his article called Massive Eating.

Let's see...35 pounds, ohhhh...if you had your game together you could get it done in 14-20 weeks.
 
*EVOLUTION: Thank you man. That actually gives me confidence lol, the little tidbit you wrote above. Let me explain my problem a little further...

- I have trouble eating. I'm FAR from balemic, (I never puke, even when I'm sick,) but I have a strange problem. My stomach BARELY ever feels hungry, and when I do eat, I'm full for hours. I honestly think my metabolism is shot... (no medical emergency, but something's not right.) I'm thinking that it could just be the way I've been eating my whole life: little portions. (Which would result in my stomach not being very large, and my appetite not being too big.) Does anyone else have this problem? Like I said, I'm sick and tired of being scrawny, but my eating habits are terrible. I sometimes wake up 2 in the afternoon, and don't eat my first meal until dinner time. I need some suggestions, and good tips for gettin' big.

Try eating 5-6 meals a day. lots of smaller meals is better for you than a few large meals anyway.

if you want to gain mass, that has got to stop.

you must eat a good sized breakfast.

if you are trying to gain muscle, the absolute worst thing you can eat is nothing. especially if you are an ectomorph. you have to load up on quality foods, and lots of protein, and it has to come in many portions rather than one big portion.

im 5'9-5'10 and weigh 135 lbs, i want to get to at least 155-160, i just eat a lot and work out hopefully i will gain some. I thought about taking weight gainers but then decided not to. Although im skinny, im glad because i have a fast metabolism that many people would kill for. Just eat, but remember that you may hit a certain age that your metabolism will slow down and then you gain too much weight. Eat and work out, thats what im doing.
 
*See... as much as I appreciate the advice, what you told me DMaister is pretty much common sense. "Eat a lot and lift wieghts." I need to know WHAT to be eating, how many times a day - and the REAL goal of my topic was: to see if anybody on this message board had a good little secret to gain wieght fast. (Eating a certain combination of food, or even just a solid plan that helps you gain quickly.) Anybody??
