Please Help Me!

Hey Everybody,

I've been searching the web and this is the only legit forum I can find. I'm having difficulties locating a good excersize program to lose about 20 pounds. I'm 5 foot 10 and at 190 pounds. I'm a sophomore in highschool and before my weight gets worse I would like to solve it. If I get to my goal of being fit...it is no problem me to venture to the local gym or continue working out to maintain my body weight. Can anyone refer me to a good excersize/workout program that doesn't get involve in the time frame of 8:00 am to 3:00 monday through friday (I have work friday till 11:00 pm, so probably this will be the "day off" from work out) as this is school time.

Please Help, if any other info is needed to help you form a good program for me?

Please I look forward to your replies...then after I guess 150 is a good stable weight to bring about muscles as I do have broad shoulders.

Thanks A Million

I just posted this on another thread, but I would say the same thing here:

"To get started, I would recommend that you read through the sticky threads here: Weight Training. This should help you come up with a more effective program, plus you will learn WHY you should do it, rather than just having someone tell you what to do.

The next step would be to start a training journal here: Journal. This way your program can be critiqued and tweaked as needed :)

Good luck to you!"

Other than the weight training stickies, here's a program I posted up on here in the young athletes development section that is designed of course to build athleticism, but can also be used to improve your body composition. Young Athletes Development Program. It's a very simple fullbody program based around legs/push/pull and constant, tiny steps of progression. Do this (or any other decent beginner's program), eat appropriately for your goals, and you'll get where you want to go.
