Please Help! Ab Program

Hi,
I am new to the forum and I just wanted to know if someone could PLLEAASEE help me with an ab program that would be effective soon....preferably within a month. I am in great shape and I have been eating healthy-primarily protein sources for 2 months now but I have yet to see a really chiseled six pack.

Below are my stats and my program If anyone could help me I would so greatly appreciate it as I have kept this program pretty rigorously and still have not achieved my results. I know that I do not need to loose any weight but why can't I seem to see my sick pack!

Stats:
height 5'2
weight-105 lbs
waist-27

Exercise program
Taebo- 35-45 minutes everyday
light weights (10 pound dumbells every other day)
ab exercises every other day

Diet:

breaktfast-protein shake (35 grams of protein, 160 cals)

snack-atkins bar-20 grams protein, 220 cals

lunch-light salad and protei shake (35 grams of protein, 160 cals)

snack-atkins bar-20 grams protein, 220 cals

dinner-egg white omelete

Thank you once again and I hope that someone can just give me advise or even tell me what I am doing wrong! I feel like results are almost there but I just never seem to achieve them.

Hey...

First off... What kind of abdominal exercises do you do? and how many times?

And you might want to watch your protein intake... I calculated that your daily protein intake should be roughly 50 grams... you are achieving this even before lunch... since you are taking more than you need, your body is probably storing the excessive protein as fat.

That's why high-protein diets don't work so hot... because the body doesn't like "fake" protein... It likes protein from protein-rich foods...

The fat that is stored on your stomach is the first place fat gets stored when you eat... so that means it's also the last place it gets used... That's why it's so hard to lose that little bit...

So I suggest that you take a look at....
1.) Your cardio program (try interval training)
2.) Your resistance program (try functional exercise)
3.) Look up proper nutrition

Then when you respond we can work on the abdominal exercises...

Hope that helps a little and if you have more questions or you want more explainations feel free to message me... I have MSN messenger.

p.s. ~ Don't get discourage about where you're at... you're doing a great job!

The body can determine between fake protein and protein-rich foods? What is fake protein? Protein supplements? Do you think the body can distinguish between the two? Protein is protein. The body will use it no matter what source it comes from. I believe whole-food sources of protein may be more nutrient dense (more vitamins and minerals) so that might be one advantage to whole foods. While an advantage to a protein supplement might be that if taken in liquid form, i.e. a shake, you can consume more calories if they are liquid than whole food due to satiety levels.

In regards to Jackieo's diet, I would recommend moving away from the Atkins bars and determining what other kinds of whole foods you can consume for a snack such as nuts, trail mix, almonds, etc. as consuming those bars gets old rather quickly. Keep your options open, experiment with different snacks/meals.

Protein poweders can supply amino acids to the boyd, but nature's protein sources (lean meat, milk, legumes, etc..) supply all these amino acids and more nutrients. The body builds muscle protein from amino acids... So pepole take prtein supplements with the false hope of stimulating muscle growth...

All the information above is right from my textbook, notes, and professor from the nutrition class I am currently taking at college...

But I would stay away from the Atkins diet all together, because you're not getting all the minerals and vitamins your body needs...
