I know when you start working out and eating right on a regular basis you're suppose to lose weight, right? But it seems like no matter what I do I can't lose weight. I know that sooner or later I would hit a weight loss plateau but why so early in my weight loss journey:cry::cry:. Can someone help me? Has this ever happen to you guys?:seeya:

Why don't you start be telling us your stats and what you are currently doing in terms of eating and exercise.

As for eating, how many cals are you consuming daily?

usually when u exercise u build up muscles ,
so maybe or most lykly ur body is losing fat but on the other hand building up muscles and the end result is weight plateau,

if u dont notice a ( size ) change , then u have to watch ur intake ,
if ur intake is exceeding ur output during exercise then its most lykly neutralizing the effect of ur outwork by the excess intake ,

i mean : if u execise but yet ur eating more calories than ur supposed too , u wont burn extra fat , but instead u maintain .

u shud make sure that ur output exceeds ur input to lose wt.

i agree that u shud share us wat ur exactly doing maybe we can notice sth u missed unconsciously.

wishing u all the best .

Xero..:waving:

If this were the case there would be a lot more muscular people walking around.

Building muscle isn't so easy, especially in the face of a hypocaloric diet while being a female.

Depends on how long she's been doing what she's doing, and more importantly.... what exactly she's doing.

Thanks for your replys um. I eat about 1500-2500 cals a day. I excerise 3-5 a week 45 mins cardio 30- hour on the treadmill and about 15 mins weight training. I kinda give myself a break on friday by eating a burger and fries :blush5:but nothing too extreme.

How are you measuring your caloric intake?

And in all honesty, how consistent are you with this caloric intake you gave us?

You are far too loose with your calorie intake. Such a large variation in calories on a daily basis can easily prevent consistent weight loss on a weekly scale.

Yea....burger and fries are a no-go sweetness

Make a food journal for a week, look back and count how many bad things you ate by finding out the calories on any of those helpful sites. THEN cut them in half, it's a good way to start.

Nonetheless when it comes to your food you need more discipline. I'm not saying starve, just eat those bad things in moderation. If you can't help yourself don't eat them at all.

That's what I do *shrugs*

If you are having trouble counting your calories, is a great website to help you. You enter all the food you eat for the day and it totals calories, a long with a detailed breakdown of where your calories come from, activity levels, all that good stuff. And it's free :D

It helps when you start out, for sure!
