I think a picture section would be cool.
Whether it be of progress, or just to put a face to a name!

There is a section with on "before, after and in between". Quite a lot of people have posted pictures in there...
Quite a few people also have pictures of themselves loaded as their avatar. The picture that you see at the top of a posting.
Some people have created albums with photos in - so if you look on their profile page - you may be able to see a picture there.
The bottom line is that the forum is all about weight loss though and quite a lot of people are uncomfortable with their photos. They may still be large and wanting to change all that - or indeed they may have lost a lot of weight but still carry the burden of body image issues where they feel uncomfortable about their appearance.
Some people post an occasional picture for friends to see (maybe hidden away in their diary or in a conversation) but do not particularly want to put pictures out there for everyone to see that doesnt really know them at all...
I suspect that most people who want to post a picture have posted them... Chat to the person - and get to know them... Once you know them - they may well reveal themselves if you ask...
