So 6 months ago i decided to do something about my ever expanding waistline and through hard exercise and dieting i manged to drop from 124 kgs to 112kgs, then some unfortunate things happened in my personal life and i had to take a break from my routine, now im back to normal and what with it being the start of lent today ive decided to get back to slimming down i weighed in this morning at 116 kgs so ive got a long way to go, but im determined to get there! im loving reading everyone elses experience with weight loss on the forum, im finding it very encouraging, so wish me luck and i'll keep ye updated :)

Keeping a diary is so useful,writting down everything from the exercises you do (even if it's a 15 min walk!) to what food you've eaten is just great to reflect upon,so you can see how you're doing.It's great to be able to look back as well,and keep yourself motivated!
I am right with you with Lent!It's a great place to start.What are you giving up?I'm giving up chocolate!

Hey guys, thanks for all the supportive encouagement, i really appreciate it :)

Day 1 has gone excellent, i put in 2 long hours at the gym and ate right all day, roll on tommorrow :)
 
So day 2 is drawing to a close, woke up this morning in bits from the gym yesterday so went for a 3 mile walk to shake it off and stuck to my diet all day, im happy out now :)
 
Day 3 is nearly done woohoo, i cant wait to look back on this diary in a few months to see how far ive come. Unfortunatly today in work was hectic so i didn't make it to the gym but i walked to and from work about a mile each way and stuck to my diet all day which im really pleased about considering how stressed i was with work :)

Hey,I am also nearly 125 and i decide to give up choclates,ice-creams,pestrys and all junk food.

Hey guys, sorry i haven't been on over the weekend but went away to my nieces 5th birthday manged to avoid all the sweets so im pretty proud of myself but i didnt get much exercise in over ther 2 days, ah well thats life lol anways started today as i mean to go on put in an hour at the gym before work and stuck to my diet all day. My fitness instructor told me there having a weigh in at the gym on wednesday so not looking forward to that :(
 
so got in an extra workout in the gym today because i have my weigh-in in the morning
:( and then i went for a 2 mile walk this evening so im feeling pretty good! probably wont be on over the next few day because i have loads of family coming into town for the patricks day festivites! so happy holidays to everyone :)
 
hey guys, so broke my diet over paddy's day by consuming a HUGE amount of alcohol, all part of being irish i guess :) anyways started back on the strict regime today! Going to try something new tonight by going to a salsa class with my friend, its for beginners so should be fun to combine exercise with learning something kinda cool, ive always wanted to learn how to dance. I'll let ye all know how i get on...
 
so salsa class was amazing last night!! Seriously guys if theres any classes near you take them! I worked up such a sweat and it was such a good laugh, i signed up for the 10 week class and im already excited for next saturday! Today i went for a 2 mile walk and stuck to my diet all day, feeling really great about my progress today :)
 
Hey guys so absolutly delighted this morning, had my wednesday weigh in at the gym and im down to 114 kgs, thats 2 kgs off woop woop!! only got to put a half hour in at the gym because work is really hectic today so hoping to go for a walk when i finish :)
 
WOW you are flying. Half an hour is still a good bit, but just keep fitting in all those little extra bits of exercise where you can!!
Keep up the good stuff!

sorry i havent been on over the past few days but my boyfriend suprised with a week in spain for our anniversary it was so nice to get away although i stayed away from all junk food i probably had a few too many bottles of wine ha anyways i started my strict regime back on thursday and i put in an hour in the gym last night and im just gettin ready now to go to salsa class feeling really positive about everything right now :)
 
so salsa class was amazing last night seriously guys if theres one near you check it out you sweat so muh i feel like i lost ten stone ha! went out for dinner dis afternoon for mothers day and had a beutiful fresh chiken salad and i went to the gym for an hour.
 
Didn't get to the gym today but walked too and from work and stuck to my diet all day going to head to the gym tomorrow before work get in a last workout before wednesday weigh in.
 
WOOP WOOP just got out of the gym after my weigh in and im down to 112kgs thats minus 2 kgs since my last weigh in :) :) :) really didnt think i would of lost that much what with being on holidays and all so im delighted.
