Personal trainers, would your clients benefit from this?

Hi personal trainers,

I am working on taking a technology I have developed and integrating it into shoes. The technology makes it so that when you walk, you will expend more energy and therefore burn more calories. I've V02 tested my technology on a treadmill, comparing it to walking without my technology at the same speed, and our test results showed that we can increase the calories that people burn by 25% to 40%.

The potential customers I have talked to and the fitness professionals at my health club think that getting this extra calorie burning benefit in the course of everyday activities could be a big benefit to people. If you do the math on how far people walk and how much they can burn off with a 30% increase, most people could burn off 2 to 10 pounds (depending on their weight and how far they walk) per year without spending any time doing it because they can do it while they work, cook, shop, run errands, etc. The benefits go beyond just fat burning (stress relief, muscle toning, increasing metabolism, etc.).

I'm trying to get a larger sample of feedback than just people I know so I've created at online survey:

If you're a fitness professional and have any comments to add, please note your opinion comes from your position of being a fitness professional.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

You have obviuosly produced these shoes and have financial support. Not sure what you want us to do? If you are not already convinced your shoes are a good idea, how did you get this far?
