Hi all I've just joined the forum as one of clients recommended me to check it out and it's great. Just though I'd let you all know I'm a personal trainer and If anyone has any questions at all just fire away , I'm more than happy to help out. Thanks

Hi Jack!

I've been thinking a lot about becoming a personal trainer recently and was actually curious about that as a career. I had some general questions about how PTs find clients, if it's more beneficial to work for a gym or privately, if you need to provide insurance/have some sort of legal plan in place to protect from being sued over injury, etc? I'm sure there are a million more questions but those are the ones that come to mind.

Thanks!

The best way I can put it is you only get what you put into it. It is a hard career to get started in but I'm self employed and it's just a matter of how you market to get your clients and yes you need public liability insurance ect to go wth the thousands you spend becoming qualified :)
