new guy here hoping to find a fix for a misaligned pelvis. for years now i have been trying to figure out what exactly is wrong with my pelvis and how to correct it. i love weightlifting and just want to get big and strong but for some reason my pelvis has become misaligned and this has led to muscle imbalances and back pain. due to my pelvis being out of place:
my right shoulder is lower than the left
i have a hard time engaging the abs on my left side
the lower back muscles on the right side of my back are overactive while the left are not easily engaged
when doing the butterfly stretch and pushing down on my knees, the left leg goes down without any trouble while the right leg is tight and i get pain in the groin area on my right leg
when doing body weight squats in the mirror my right knee drifts forward while in the bottom position and therefore my upper body twists to the left slightly
the more i read about this the more i get confused. i've been stretching and rolling the tight over active muscles and exercising the loose weak muscles so as to develop a mind muscle connection with them and it seems to help alleviate the back pain but my pelvis is clearly still out of place when i do the butter fly test. can anyone offer any advice please. this is really frustrating.
