patellar dislocation recovery

Hey guys,
Last february, I dislocated my right knee patellar, the result of course, was extreme pain all summer long. Now, after 10 months, most of the pain is gone, however, when I attempt to run, I can not feel any muscles in my right knee, and I just have to give up. Can anyone give me tips or a program on how to train my knee muscles up to a standard which I do not feel any more pain, or trouble? For the record, I am getting alot of daily exercise by walking, this gives me alot of rehabilitation, but it is going too slow

hey,

you should stop doing exercises witch over strain the knee joint also you sould look to do non weighted knee strengthening exercises like squats and one legged squats also you can do an exercise where you put an exercise ball between your back and a wall and try to lower your bum all the way to the floor and back up again also any balence exercises will help your recovery.
