Hi there, I'm fairly new to dieting as have always had a good metabolism however once I hit 30 it's started to get a little harder...

I've heard a bit about the Paleo diet that apparently encourages eating meats, grains, fruit, fish, veges - the types of food that they used to be able to get their hands on in caveman/woman days, thinking about it, it's probably a good idea as back then they had none of the preservatives that food has today...

Has anyone done this diet, what were the results? I'm keen to get started and have found a great recipe book, just keen on feedback first!

Paleo has it's negatives but is better than most.

Seriously, instead of hooking into any popular fad diet, you would do best to simply follow a lean protein + complex carb diet that is based on common sense and good science.

Add some resistance training and cardio 3 times per week and you can continue to improve at 30,40 and older .................
