Pain (somewhere) on my right arm...

Hi,

I don't know what to think of this pain I've been having, so looking for some thoughts...

What I feel right now is this numb-pain on my right arm. Feels a bit like a tooth-ach but less intense. It's always there if I pay attention to it, but if I don't, I don't even notice it.

I can't say where it's exacly location is either, it's somewhere under my triceps or maybe somewhere between triceps, biceps and deltoid, that region with no big muscles in it. I seams to keep on shifting between this two regions. It feels like it's in the bone, deep down there.

Much less intense but also there, there's something also in my right shoulder, somewhere above the scapula, so I'm thinking "rotator cuff". Been reading the posts about it but just doesn't seam to be it somehow.

I'm certain this comes from a bench press mishap I had maybe a week ago. I had very little sleep and hadn't eaten much that day so I had muscle failure on my last set. I was pretty confident that I could pull one more rep and rack the bar but I failed it. Tried to rack the bar on the safety hooks but was so startled by that sudden failure that I only managed the get the bar on the left hook. Right side dropped bellow my chest level and it was hell to get a proper leverage from there. (I train at home, so no spotter...)

I gave it a couple of days of rest, had a training section that went well and yesterday, on the bench press, the minute I unracked the bar and lowered it my right arm gave me this sharp pain somewhere in the area I described. I thought I wouldn't be able to hold it again but I did. It feels like something is going to tear or be ripped off.

Pressing feels much better and I don't have much of a problem. I feel something but no big deal. This pain is much more acute when lowering the bar... I'm currently resting it out but would like to know what your thoughs are....

Thanks!
