pain in the elbow

I have started working out at home after abt 2 years off
Its been two weeks and I am feeling pain in my right elbow when im doing push-ups
I also get poping sound from the elbow even when i bend my elbow a bit fast.

I am not over doing or anything
I am working to a plan and taking it pretty slow and i have not started weights

My question is if its normal to get this pain at joints if you started working out after a break?
Do i need to be worried?
 
probably just bursitus or inflamed connective tissue. Take a few days off from exercises that aggravate it and let it clear up, then start again and see if it comes back. I often have elbow discomfort after a heavy workout but it passes within a couple of days.
