Hi all. I am 21 and weigh from 210-220 depending on the previous week. I am 6' 1". I am more of a country kid who loves beer and it kinda shows on my belly now. I have mostly replaced beer with liquor and i have drastically changed from drinking everyday of the weekend(thurs-sunday) to drinking 1 or 2 on seldom occasions. I do not want to do p90x because i am not going to be able to work out 6 times a week but i was wondering if working out chest and tris mondays, bis and back wednesdays, and legs and shoulders friday along with 4-5 of p90x cardio workouts monday-friday would help get me the more toned body im desiring. I have also changed my diet alot by cutting down portions and eating more healthy stuff like chicken, tuna, lettuce, spinach, yogurt, fruit, veggies, etc. Being a college student i am not goin to be able to eat like this everday nor be able to afford the more expensive healthy stuff. Just looking for advice and opinions on my thoughts. Thanks everyone

Exercise is important, but how much you eat and drink is even more important. You need to eat less calories than you body needs. You do not need to spend a lot of money to eat healthy. Fresh vegetables are not expensive. I eat raw carrots for lunch many days, for example.

Write down whatever you eat at every meal and snack and find out the calories for each of these things. I mean count, weigh or measure EVERYTHING. Find out how many calories are in the beer you drink, the calories for all the healthy food you eat. Write back and tell us what the calorie total for everything little thing you eat per day.

You might be amazed.
